Lets say there is a minor breach of trust in a relationship

Lets say there is a minor breach of trust in a relationship. For example he/she asks where you have been and later finds out you weren't where you said. You said so bc you knew he/she would be slightly pissed.
You couldn't be bothered with the BS so you told a minor lie.

Note you very rarely lie in the relationship. My question is simple which gender as a whole has more trouble "getting over" such as situation. Letting it go or getting over it. Get voting.
