I think you will do yourself a favor handling it that way, and possibly her. You will know for sure that your decision to walk away was the right one, if that ends up being the case. And she will learn that if she wants to attract better men, she might need to change some behaviors. I feel for you because she got your hopes up, but you never know how this might turn out.
It's best you handle it in the way you written, by waiting to hear from her about her trip when she gets back. If she's partying, doing drugs and screwing random men, then move on if that is not your type. There's also a good chance that she doesn't tell you too much, giving you half-truths and possibly hiding things that may sway your decision. That's also the chance you have to take. Hopefully she's 100% honest with you though.

That means anything from laying on the beach for a week and enjoying the time spent, to those girls gone wild parties that I'm sure he's seen many times on TV when they were popular. If she used drugs he won't really know unless he notices that she shot up with needles in her arm.

Not really. They were just 2 opposites that I thought of in maybe 10 seconds of thinking. It's not meant to scare anyone or make him think that that's exactly what will happen down there, but similar things DO happen. I don't have experience with these, but I do know people who tell stories, and have the videos to prove it.

Yeah, no kidding. You've got to be careful when you don't know someone very well. Unfortunately, I dated several women that didn't turn out to be who I expected they would be back in my twenties. "Oh no, I never do drugs!"..then I find a whole stash of drugs in her bathroom. Or, "you're the only guy I'm dating right now"...then I find out she's dating half a dozen other guys at the same time...lol. It's good to be cautious.
