I worked at Boca Hotel for a while and wow, some of those older folks (70s and beyond) had no problem making it to the wee hours.

When in my 20s, I'd go to clubs with friends and occasionally see a few people in their 40s-50s and think, oh god, we don't want to end up like that.

It was really because they were so much older than us and it seemed kind of perverted.

There's an Irish pub nearby that attracts all ages. And many of all ages stay till the wee hours. It's more a family place, so it doesn't seem weird.

It's easy to see why those places are so popular across the pond.

hahah oh man, I haven't drank bush or natty in years .. that brings back memories. high school days where I could drink as much as I wanted and never feel the crippling hangover effects

Dunno. I'm 26 and it's not uncommon for me to go to a show, then DJ the afterparty till 6am. Some nights we will hit the bar, and after party or go to after hours. Don't do it as much as I used to but still happens.
