Probably men. If there is any correlation - women initiate about 2/3 of all divorces.

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be roughly equal. I notice that was not an option on this brilliantly nuanced poll.

I too am not voting unless there is an "equally" option.

I would have to say 50/50, although I've never actually been dumped.. surprisingly

I get this feeling the men are going to say men and the women are going to say women

As for divorce, my ex was the one that ended it and walked out on me... but I filed. I noticed that trend with other people in my divorce support group... a lot of the "abandoned spouses"--both men and women--were the ones left to file and do the paperwork). But it wasn't all of them--in some cases the person who left also filed (especially if that person was leaving for a lover and wanted to remarry). Basically, it's a mixed bag and who files might not be the one who ended it. So I think those numbers can be misleading.

I think men get dumped more, but it's lot closer to 50/50 than in the initial rejection stages.

Men have more rejections than women do but men have more opportunities and choices.

Tough one. I would say 50/50, but there isn't an option for mutual splits.

I think that women are more likely to dump men.

If men want out, they start getting distant, cheat, become mean, less available, withdraw ... and then the women dumps them.
