This might appear to be a silly question, but I am genuinely being serious in asking this.
My response to this poll would be Yes, though this is probably something which I will need some time to get used to. I have a habit of remembering people's names pretty well, and thus, if a woman whom I will date has the same name as my mom or as another close female relative of mine, then it might cause me to think a lot about my mom and/or my other close female relative when I am with this woman. (For instance, if I and this woman will have sex, and this woman says "Say my name!", this could genuinely get a bit awkward for me.)

Thoughts?
So - if you didn't have a habit of remembering people's names well, you might forget the name of your mother or the woman you are dating?
I could care less what someone's names is and I've never been one to say someone's name in moments of passion. Well, except for God's name but he doesn't count. And I'm an atheist.

1. No--it might simply make the process of dating such a woman a bit easier.
I dated a guy who had the first same AND last name as my dad (and therefore, the same last name as me). It happens. My last name before I got married was one of the most common Surnames in the world, and while my dad's name was not popular in his own generation, it has since become quite trendy.
I used to think it was really weird....until it happened that I had a little crush on a guy with the same name as a family member. What happens is you cease to mainly associate that name with your family member; it takes on a new dimension. So you don't hear their name & think of your family member.
Why I thought it was weird before, IDK; perhaps immaturity or inability to see how names can have many associations. I guess I thought the association would bring to mind the family member & that would kill off desire or make it incestuous in some way - but it's just a name!
