7. The only difference between your actions being romantic and creepy is how attractive the other person finds you. That’s it, that’s all.
I've learned that lesson. There is a person that I'm watching out for due to the creeps she keeps seeming to run into. At some point, I thought I was coming off as a creep myself and started formulating an exit strategy. I know how it feels to be creeped out and I hate when people go through that. Then I found out that she not only appreciates me doing that, but she actually looks for me.
(I'm stating this for laughs by the way.)
I actually use this to my advantage with women. When I meet a new girl that I'm really attracted to, I come on a lot stronger than I used to in the past. I send a lot of messages, invite them to come out to lunch whenever I feel like it just because. The reason is because if she's into me then she will love it, and if she's kind of on the fence with me or finds what I do annoying then I wouldn't want to be wasting my time anyway.
The article is pretty accurate. While some of those theories have been around for years, the article highlights two very recent changes. One, social media has changed our lives and along with it the dating scene. I like Facebook so much I deleted my account and do not miss it one bit! Women, more than men put the most trivial stuff on their, "I'm at the gym," "I'm getting a manicure," "This is my dinner," "I hate my boyfriend," "I love my boyfriend." The worst part is they get 20, 30, 40 likes for this stuff. Plans are now made via facebook, so if you call or text Jenny to see if she wants to go out and you didn't see she already has plans on facebook, well aren't you a dumb-ass. Second, society is more corse, less personal, and people are generally rude. Number 5 describes this best. She will make plans with you, until something better comes along
Do I need to spell it out? Starts with an S and ends with an X. We all want it--we just vary in how close of a relationship we'll do that for.
