I'd refuse to go to McDonald's. Who said buying a meal is a requirement, anyway? If you can't afford to buy real food, find something else to do on the date.

It's all the same. Imagine being on a first date and she needs to buy something for whatever reason. What's she going to do, ask the guy to buy it for her? lol

It's definitely a sign of low class.

However, I don't think the OP shows any signs of being classless.. quite the opposite in my opinion.

I'm sure the guy will pick up the tab, she should borrow 10 or 20 bucks from a friend and if she doesnt need any of it just give it back. I wouldn't try to postpone until 4/25.. that's a long time

What's wrong with grabbing McDonalds? We usually go when we wake up, I get 20 mcnuggets and she gets a happy meal.
