I am ok with people who feel they have found their soulmate. It is certainly possible to find a mate with which you have so much in common that you have a deep and intimate connection.
I am not certain there is a specific "someone" out there pre-destined as perfect for any one other person.
The term is very misunderstood.
Anyone can be your soulmate, the relationship is not limited to a romantic interest and not limited to one individual.
Until this is completely understood most would not know their soulmate(s) if they were smacked in the head by them.
Do you believe there is some one out there for everyone?
No, I do not think there is some "one" for each person. Most people are compatible with multiple people, and some people aren't compatible with anyone.
I think it's an excuse to check your brain at the door. The best marriages I have seen, they're not going to describe each other as soulmates. "Partner" "Wife" "Husband" - these are terms I understand and embrace. What more do they need added to them?

I used to believe that...
Then I took an arrow in the knee.
My belief is that there are some people that are meant to be single (due to things like personality, mindset, beliefs, circumstances)
Then there are those who are just sought after (for the very same reasons). Then there are things such as time in life. For me, there was a time when it just seemed like no one wanted me. Now, things are different.
I believe that there is no cut and dry answer (at least for me).
