Love is often said to be illogical and have no reason to it.~

Often I learned that some people say when their lover asked them why they loved them, they said, "I don't have a reason, I just love you."

It that is true, then if some one actually has a reason to love you, do they really love you for you or for some aspect about you?

Aspects can be found in any one.~

If they love you for your aspects: are you just a collection of aspects?

What if some one with the same aspect or aspects they love about you met them first, would they love them instead?

Pretty heady thread for a memorial weekend.

Love is illogical at times and I don't know if we can a assign "reasons" as you've listed, or aspects....

Love is the reason that I think humanity might have a chance in this unpredictable chaos called existence........

I would say I love my husband for a "collection of aspects." I'm not sure if I had found someone else with the combination if I would have loved them "first", as I find my husband very unique.

I'm not sure it matters...... at least not to me.

PS: you made my head hurt

Yeah, Chow is right, this one is a little too cerebral for a holiday weekend, lol.

Bottom line for me is, I love my husband for the man he is.

And while "who" he is may be a collection of different "aspects" and characteristics, his are the only ones put together in exactly the way they are.

So no, just because another man had all the same "aspects" I would not necessarily love that man because no one else would have all those aspects put together in the same way my husbands are.

Look at it this way, it's kind of like the Taco Bell menu...

Taco Bell basically uses 5 different ingredients but out of those 5 "aspects" they are able to have a menu of at least 50 different items.

When I go to Taco Bell I only order Nacho's Bellgrande, nothing else on the menu appeals to me, get it?

"Honey.... you are like Taco Bell to me...."

Your analogy cracked me up, and in a very weird way it's so true. Wait.... I don't LIKE Taco Bell. Cr@p.
