Sex is enjoyable but it has some serious consequences that you should try to bear in mind. It's not a game. I'm not saying that you need to practice abstinence - I sure didn't - but your attitude about it seems like you don't take it very seriously. As a 17 year old - you should take it very seriously. It only takes 1 time to get someone pregnant - and then it's out of your hands. I'm not trying to be a debbie downer - it's just that your posts sound like a kid having fun doing something that they think is cool - when this cool thing could lead to you being a dad at 17 or having an STD.
I also live in a place where parents will pay for a daughter's abortion. No girl here is going to be teen mom. But I still use the condoms.

Don't take that for granted. I lived in a place like that, too. There were still a few teen moms. You can't predict what someone is going to do after the fact. All you can do is prevent it from happening in the first place. I'm from a very affluent area where abortions were quite common. There were still some that went through with having a baby. It happens.

Westchester has teen moms? Maybe Yonkers or Mount Vernon but they don't really count.

I didn't grow up here. I grew up outside of Los Angeles. There was a girl a couple years older than me that got pregnant and kept coming to high school. Most of the girls that got pregnant got abortions or changed schools. I'm not sure if we have teen moms around here since my children are less than 3 years old and I am not in high school myself.
But like I said - you can't control what a girl does after she is pregnant - all you can do is prevent pregnancy in the first place.
There is absolutley nothing wrong with not ever being in love at 17. Actually I think that is a good thing, you are still way too young. Just go out and have your fun, there is plenty of time to fall in love. Like maybe your mid to late twenties!!
