we have had eye contact a few times but I cannot read people, so maybe it was nothing. are you saying the lighter thing will not work? I can't touch him, he is a stranger and I bet you only like it if the girl is attractive otherwise no touching right?
You can totally touch strangers! Obviously not in a creepy way, but after interacting for a few minutes. Look for a couple of things...
1. is he getting a little bit closer to you?
2. is he facing you with his whole body? (not just is face, but let's say upper body too?)
You are golden! Now you can touch his shoulder or near the elbow. Or upper back.
These spots are really easy to play off as accidents if he doesn't seem to respond positively.
