I'm a socially awkward male (working on it slowly) and I have a girlfriend. One of my other friends is socially awkward and he has a girlfriend. So do people say this to be mean or what?
The only people who say that kind of stuff are people like you, but 4-5 months ago.
Lol.
I'm socially awkward, I do just fine. It's more my location that screws with me..
Remember that Hooters girl I said approached me? After the misunderstanding we had, we became friends. Shortly after that, I asked her out and she said yes. Once we went on a couple of dates, I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes.
That had to be a cringe-worthy moment. She must of thought it was endearing or something! I've never asked a question like that, it was just kinda assumed after awhile. Lol
Happy for you though, if it don't work out at least it will help your confidence a lot.
I'll try that. I just don't want to disrespect her.

It's gotten me some experience that I thought I would never get. I'm just enjoying the ride.

Hey if you could swoop and take a Hooters girl, gives me a bit of hope.
