Why not actually talk to her, in person?

Thanks guys. I work in the tech field so everyone is using social media.

I've had a girl that was into me that added me. I didn't know much about her and I told her it was odd that we didn't talk much, so we did.

I don't get to see her that often since she works in another office. I will once I see her again.

If it's a situation of "we're both single and I'm interested" then no.

If you're both married and it's strictly professional it might be OK. I'm FB friends with a female coworkers, but these are married women who also know my wife and there's no assumption of any sort of romantic intent.

I would get to know her a bit more first and then see how things turn out.

I add work people all the time. I am friends with my boss and a few co-workers. The rule is basically, if I think you are the sort of person I would have drinks with after work, then I'll probably Facebook friend you!

I don't go trolling my boss' profile for info, but I have definitely commented on a few posts, and she has shared stuff on my wall.

I am friends with my work BFF and his girlfriend, and I comment on his posts often. I am friends with married male ex-coworkers (we were work BFFs and Facebook friends when we worked together). And plenty of other male coworkers over the years. I don't differentiate between the men and the women. If I am willing to talk about slighty personal stuff (the type of stuff I'd share on Facebook) then you are game for FB friendship.

It is no biggie, unless you cross the line of our work relationship. Like it would be weird if my coworker started posting "OMG you look so hot in the pic!"

I'd say ask first.

I don't It add anyone from work on social media unless we are fiends outside of work.
It's starts the domino affect and soon I have everyone trying to add me.

If you just want to know the girl ask her if it's ok first
