Maybe you should tell him that when he's officially divorced, give you a call.

Or, maybe you should try and figure out why you would be different from his wife that he's divorcing. He wasnt able to "make it work" with her, why would you think you are going to be any different?

This has to be the greatest insult to all people divorced, men and women alike.



OP - you haven't been through a divorce, but it is an emotional roller coaster. Studies suggest the stress of a divorce is just slightly less than the death of a child. The man needs lots of room, and he isn't signing up for a new relationship any time soon. You want from him what he is not capable of giving you. Either accept as is, or move on.
