Default Can i be pregnant?

I ve been taking birth control pill - Yasmin, since Sept,. to help with my skin - so i was not so regular on time.
Thus, this month i started taking combined Doxyclycline, antibiotic.
Yesterday i forgot that i was taking the antibiotic with the pill so i had unprotected sex with my bf. So i took the pill very late - like 5 hours after that usually i take, and i took 2 in the same time, and i didnt take the antibiotic. the thing is some medications can still be in the blood for a couple days, and this happens with this medication, that still gonna be in my body for 7 days. About the pill I m going to my third week on the blister. I didnt stop taking it, so i decided to stop just the other medication.
I am a little scare because i ve heard that makes the effect of the pill b weaker and sometimes can just make the pill lose the effect at all.

So what s the probability to be pregnant?

It is a possibility. I wouldn't stop any medication without talking to your doctor first. Even the antibiotic. Just make sure you take your pill on time for the rest of the month.

sorry i cant answer your ? but it's a well known fact that antibiotics can lower the effectiveness of the pill. antidepressants can do this also. i would worry more about taking the pill with an antibiotic than just being a few hours late in taking your pill. dont stress yet though.

go to your health care provider as soon as possible, if you don't have a doctor or nurse practitioner, get to Planned Parenthood, let them know all the meds you are taking and go from there, they know a lot more, plus your own health care history, than anyone can tell you online
