Maybe he's going after the wrong type then. If being real and genuine isn't good enough for a woman, maybe she's not good enough for him. If he has to force himself to be someone or something he's not in order to get her, she's not worth his time or effort.

You don't get that type by "running game" my friend. By definition, the types who make you "run game" are not real, loyal and honest. Keep looking. Don't give in and revert back to "running game." Be yourself and be persistent. Good things will come around, and probably when you least expect it.
if I don't initially game them they don't become my girl in the first place. Every woman I've ever been genuine with turned into a monster. The only "good" relationships I've ever had was ones where I was controlling there mind or emotions.

You're not imagining things. Women's minds are crazy, unstable places. Particularly so in their 20's when they're the most enticing to look at, yet the most awful to put up with. One of natures many cruel jokes. They grow out it to some extent, but this is a hard life lesson that guys just have suck up and accept about women. You can't really ever be "genuine" or "yourself" with them - they're not attracted to who you are. They're attracted to what you are. If you could just be yourself and have women love you for it, things would be easy, but that's not how it works with them and you already know this from experience. There's always a script to follow and a tight rope balancing act to walk with a woman. You either accept that and take the bad with the good, or don't play with them at all.
