I enjoy this as well; I enjoy having a good meal made for me but the reverse as well. Must be the Puerto Rican culture, we show love through the enjoyment of food.
Yes. Food is my love language. When I was growing up, my family went to my grandmother's a lot. Everyone was welcome--friends, their parents, neighbors, people from church--and there was always food. I love having everyone at my house and cooking for them. I pack my husband's lunches during the week and cook things he likes. He didn't have to ask me. When he was a bachelor, he made things like "spaghetti eggs." I told him to get out of the kitchen.
I usually cook lunch/dinner. My husband does breakfast, usually in bed complete with coffee.
I actually has not cooked my whole life. NEVER liked it. Even when I had my apartment, I rarely cook.
I can genuinely say though I love cooking now. I love how I just make my own sauce out of whatever condiments we have and it always taste good.
I should join that tv show - franken food I might win with my franken bbq sauce.
