Prolonged, graphic displays of affection, it kind of reminds me of how, when we're young, we are taught that if you didn't bring enough for everyone (food, gum, etc.), you didn't partake of it yourself.

I'm totally NOT into PDA either. Tasteless. But, holding hands and a peck here and there? That's innocent. Most people do show some affection even in public. They can't help it. Basic non-verbal communication: "I'm into you." Unless he's a robot (even then, most robotic guys I know are actually very gushy/sentimental inside), I call complete b.s.
Seems awkward. Concrete is hard on the knees.
