You know, I wouldn't pursue a relationship if the guy's family wasn't 100% supportive. If they dislike you, there will always be issues.

Depends where the family is located!!!! My last relationship ended with an unofficial engagement (we looked at rings and discussed marrying each other....). His family didn't like me. We came from very different backgrounds including religious faiths (it made a difference folks...). Ultimately the relationship failed due to that and another factor. If his family wasn't living that close to us, I wouldn't have been a deal breaker. He made it clear he would never leave town because all his family was there and that was enough for me.
