You can and I actually have one of those as well, I suggest the 14" Joyce Chen but don't put the long handle on it.
Much easier to use without it, it also has a flat bottom which in theory makes it sit flat on the burner however, I still use the ring because I like the stability of it and I can move it easily if I want.

I spent several hundred dollars at the vet this week, and found out our beagle has an enlarged heart. Major bummer.

Today I ran four miles and walked four miles, so I could eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was worth it. This crappy summer has taken it's toll and I'm five pounds over my goal weight. *******s.

I think walking and running that much you could have eaten Mexican 3 times today and not gained a smidge of anything.

Sorry to hear about your hound, is this something that can be controlled with diet/exercise/medication?

Let's just say I indulged. Haha.

She will be on meds for the rest of her life. It's manageable and she could have several more good years with us (she's twelve). It just sucks because I know she will not live as long as she could otherwise, and I'm not ready for her to be old! She also has disc disease in her back. Poor pup.

I'm so, so sorry about your doggy, Beagle and SD. I wish I could do something, sincerely...

EDIT: Eff your goal weight, LOL.
