So its our second date, things are going great (at least I thought). She gets up to go to the bathroom. I wait for a few minutes, find it odd its taking a long time, then ask the waitress if she's seen her. The waitress says no, and says she thinks she left. I'm sort of bewildered and stupidly pay for her $30 lunch. (I should have left the restaurant the woman's number and not paid).
Ugh. I feel stupid and worthless. How can people be like this? The weird thing is, her profile is all about how she tries her hardest to be kind to people etc.
You waited for FEW minutes? How few are you talking about? FYI, women takes LONGER waaaay longer in the bathroom than men. If I were your date you would have left too.
And as I get back to the table will be WTF-ing - where's MY food?!!!
My husband actually always tell me after I get back from bathroom - he was thinking of calling for search party for me in the bathroom. Coz I always take long time to use it.

This is on HER. SHE was rude. Why would you volunteer to feel badly over someone clearly not worth it?

Did you miss the neon flashing sign she had turned on that said "I'm leaving the bill for you to pay witout telling you"?
There is no way that you would know that she was going to decide to leave.
This is definitely not your issue and you should not feel stupid for someone else's choices.

This is a major life lesson for you.
Based on your frustration with being stuck with 'her $30 lunch'.
DO NOT EVER GET MARRIED. . . .
You will have to do things like:
Buy an engagement ring
Pay a mortgage
Other bills
Raise children
Etc, etc.
And then if you get divorced, you will lose about half of your stuff and/or have to pay child support.
Stop dating ASAP and get a goldfish. You can get a decent goldfish bowl, filter, some colored rocks for the bottom, a plastic plant and the actual goldfish for under $30.
