Default A wedding forum on City-Data

There is a conversation in the "administration zone" about having a wedding forum here.

A better poll would have given the choices "yes" and "no". I vote no.

I think it would be a good idea. Nothing in the poll applies to me, except that I am married, but I don't need advice. I am separated.

I took my advice and went with it.

But still, I say, it would be a good board.

I think that it's a great idea. I won't need it, but others will enjoy it. Or how about a wedding and party forum? That would cover other large festive gatherings that would also need catering, bands and rented banquet facilities.

astrogal will become famous soon enoughastrogal will become famous soon enough
I requested it because I will be getting married and realized the wealth of traditions and cultures and ideas that could be contributed here....heck even licensing if you want to marry in another state and yeah the DJ thing, there is just so much! And I don't know about you guys but I average going to a wedding at least once a year/ year and a half. So you see ideas that others might be interested in.

I vote NO. The board is getting too cluttered with sub forums. Start a thread in the Relationship forum and see how many hits it gets.
