Trust me, I work with people who talk too much all day. It is not pleasant and you have to resist the urge to just say it and them. Not something you voluntarily want to deal with. It is a true introvert's worst nightmare.

She's answering a direct question. You asked, "How are you?" and she was simply responding nicely and informatively. If you are concerned that she's going to stalk you or something, I don't think you have anything to worry about. She sounds nice. Maybe next time don't ask her any questions and see what happens.

Sorry for not being clear:

I think she is showing interest, which I like, but I wanted other's opinions.

I wouldn't call that an extensive reply... the lady was just filling you in because after all, you DID ask how she was. I don't understand these people telling you to run away

I agree with this, nothing out of the ordinary just being nice and showing interest in one aspect of your life.

Whether OP was RIGHT or WRONG....this is what makes a good thread.

He actually provided the evidence so people can make judgement and whatever.

I'd much rather see the real text/conversation instead of:

"he/she was being emotionally abuse to poor me!!!"

What I noticed in many forums is that only guys actually try to provide real evidence on a thread..
