Robyn, I strongly suspect that L.'s problems with his family have nothing to do with her, her diagnosis, or anything she does or does not do.

DAIB is a misogynist. That's why he treats you so poorly. He really has a 'hate' problem with women/females. He dances to his mother's tunes, but he probably dislikes and resents her very much.

OK. I'm not a doctor and I don't know squat....really I don't. I also know it's dumb to make statements like I just did on an Internet site. I did it anyway. I want you to be careful. That's all.

I'm still curious to know how your BIL acted at court. Is he different when he's not being watched/controlled by his wife and MIL?

Robyn, no surprise to any of us that you did so well! Congratulations, you could represent me anytime! As I was reading along, I just felt your poise and honesty had the upper edge in dealing with that lawyer. You are just so wonderful, you have your whole life ahead of you, to grow and evolve...just think of the possibilities.
I'll bet you slept well last night. How is L feeling today?

Rockky, you were right-on, in both posts...don't take anything back!
And incidentally, I personally don't feel his family is licking his wounds now, I think MIL has no respect for anyone (or she wouldn't be imposinig on SIL's family with ib's issues), so I think he's feeling the heat from her today about how poorly he handled everything. Robyn, they all deserve each other ~ and again, I wish he'd move down south asap, and leave the kids alone. It's easier to do damage control with the monsters out of the way, than it is to help them manage their periodic visits...just my feelings.

PS: Macrina, I couldn't be in your religion ~ you got home at 5am from a midnight service?? God Bless You, and pray for me!

You are unbelievable. If you could only tape these hearings, you could raise money by selling them to us! Sounds as if you played it perfectly. I bet his attorney was so mad that you showed them up. A real David and Goliath story.

I would def bring up L's sleeping arrangements once you have recharged your power shield. Isn't it environment important with AS? Routine and lack of unecessary distractions?
