I appreciate the recommendation however, I will go in and get out the nigh time alka seltzer and 4 ounces of fizzing water later I will be just fine and ready for bed. I have a cold as well so the alka seltzer is the night time cold symptom relief fizzy thing as well.

My Dad swore by alka seltzer and would make me swill it down no matter my complaint...go for it...
I never had the heartburn issue until about 4 - 5 years ago but that is when I was diagnosed with this Auto Immune Liver Disease and had to start taking medication daily.
I don't mind the medication daily as much as I minded those 37 viles of blood going to the Mayo Clinic (to hopefully find what was wrong with me), but that one medication has made it so I cannot stand the sight, smell or taste of sweets, especially chocolate.
I did manage to sneak in a Payday bar a few days ago, it made me so sick but it was so good.
I've never been a church goer. I was baptized Methodist because it was the thing to do. My mom always said we were Lazy Lutherans or Bedside Baptists. IMO, the worst part of a Lutheran service is all the hymns.....whyyyyyyyyy???????
In other news, our dog is a total a-hole. He ate my ice pack tonight. It's no wonder the bird spent the whole morning yelling at him.

Takes the pressure off you.
How's your elbow?
It is getting easier to move my arms, but they are still pretty sore. The elbows are getting less painful, but it seems the pain is moving to the forearms. SD had to help with the dishes and laundry today.

It should be noted that I did so without whining or bitching.
