Artemis, Mr. CSD thinks those are hysterical and loves them, I took a photo with my iPhone and texted it to him.
He said they are absolutely practical and would be used in our home often and he loves the fact that they look like a food truck which we are about to purchase.

We watched a documentary about The Eagles. I was never a huge fan, but they part of the fabric of the 70's, I remember just always hearing their music growing up as a small kid during the 70's.... picnics, bar b que's they were there, always playing in the background.....
They did a really good job with the documentary, sometimes documentaries can be a little dry but like I said, pretty interesting.
It was a two part jobber and over 3 hrs long..... It was interesting to see some of the music industry dealings with artists, seems like artist always get screwed over.
It was interesting to see Joe Walsh and hear him talk a bit too.... it did focus a bit more on the Henley and Frey, but it's to be expected to a degree... they did do a bulk of the song writing, which was one of the bones of contention with the other band members, but I suppose all bands have that inner strife.

The Eagles were major players for good reason. They have some songs I totally like, I Can't Tell You Why. Journey is another favorite. Albeit, they are an 80s band.
Yeah, I prefer Journey over The Eagles, but I was starting to get a little bit older during the 80's and started to pay more attention to music by then. Like I posted, I was under 10 for all of the 70's so when you're younger I don't think music is on your radar as much, I mean of course looking back you can remember songs.......
There is some definite country influence in some of the Eagles music..... I grew up with country on too.... I love a lot of the 80's country musicians, George Straight, Hank Williams jr. guys like that....
Country music now kinda sucks.... seems like it's trying to hard to be like pop music.... cheesy, glitzy and fluff.....

It does suck. I blame Lonestar, rascal flats and Keith Urban for much of why it sucks.
Yep. Modern country is junk. And you're both right on why.
I grew up with classic rock. My dad's band used to practice in the basement and get hammered till 3-4 in the morning, while 6 year old me was trying to sleep.
Did I mention is was on school nights? lol
