Sea,

Mr. CSD and I just had a toast in honor of your Dad with Asti, hopefully he won't mind since he liked Martini's but we have Asti and not Martini ingredients. Well, except for the green olive, we always have green olive in the house since they are one of my favorite snacks.

We forgot the champagne for a toast at midnight.

I'm always surprised to hear that. They don't look comfortable to me at all, lol.

I bought a pretty good pair in Carmel, CA. They have lasted a long time. I had new heels put on them. I was surprised how comfortable they feel, too.....

No, I'm sure he wouldn't mind, lol. That was nice, CSD, thanks.

I love green olives, too! My dad liked them in his martinis, but wasn't supposed to eat them anymore, so when he'd have martinis when we were out somewhere, he'd give them to me.

I like green & black olives. They always had homemade brands letting folks taste them at the " Artichioke Festival" in Castroville, CA......deep fried artichoke hearts are...YUM...

Do you put them on your pizza? I always have them put on pizza if the pizza shop has them available but I like to eat them by themselves and I always slice them up for our salads.

I forgot to tell you all I was told something that made me very happy.
Our grandsons have had their quilts on their beds and have used them every night since I gave them the quilts. They also carry them around the house.

We have this pasta dish that has green olives, artichoke hearts capers and Sundried tomatoes with some feta cheese in it... if you like tangy "olivey" things, that's the dish for you......

I love capers, but with green olives and feta...it's good, but my mouth is puckering right now.... good stuff......

I just picked up the ingredients for Alfredo Sauce when we were at the grocery.
Mr. CSD wants Fettuccine Alfredo with broccolli and grilled chicken.
