That you use the term "likely" demonstrates that you don't have enough experience to really make that judgment. Speaking from a woman's standpoint, sex is much better when you get older, because the guy actually knows what he is doing. Sex as a teen, while fun, is often awkward and inhibited, regardless of how hot the people involved are.
For some men they still don't know what they are doing because they haven't had much sex in their lives. In order for a man to have sex he needs to go out looking for it and face rejection. Men that are introverted with self image problems this becomes an insurmountable mountain to climb. If a woman is cute and shy she will get men that will approach her. The only women that can relate to what shy low confidence men face are overweight ugly women. For women to experience sex they just need to look good and pick a suitable candidate out of the suitors.
For example, the show 40 year old Virgin was about a man :P I'm sure that show hit home with a lot of men.
