Why don't married women cheat as much as married men do? (cheating, children)

I am assuming but this would be the case the world over. By whatever percentage the number of married men would have cheated more than woman. In Arabic countries the difference would be huge, in western much less but still...why? They are both equally bored than why does she hold back?

The vast majority of women marry for financial considerations, even though you'd have to hold a gun to their heads to have them admit it!

Take the risk, cheat and get caught red-handed, and jeopardize their financial security?

It's the nature of men, possibly because they have the role of pursuer, problem is that most don't know when to stop.

My guesses:

1. She has a lower sex drive (and not "equally bored"), which probably contributes to his cheating.
2. It's more socially acceptable for a man to philander.
3. She's less likely to jeopardize her children's security.
3. She is cheating too, just more careful and does not get caught.

In general women just aren't "hard-wired" or socialized to make that choice
