Is that a countdown until you are together permanently? With no end game in sight I would never get into a LDR
Before there can be an endgame in sight, you have to actually pursue the LDR. If everyone followed your logic, they'd never get into any relationships at all.
Sad that the OP seems happy their significant other is that far away.....
Life is not a perfect world. Sometimes, we take the cards we're dealt with and make the most of it. It's better than not having someone, just my opinion.
But I do agree with what you said. I'd preferred if my girl was State side but the ones I liked were already taken and that ones that weren't wouldn't give me a chance.
