Define ugly? What one finds ugly one may find attractive. Now if you're using the cultural benchmark of the West in your question then no. I'm a gay man and most of my friends are gay women (wierd, huh?) and I can tell you my straight guy friends are soooo jealous of me!
See, you can't use what you see at a gay pride parade or in a gay bar or a gayberhood as a barometer of what a gay person looks or acts like. In these environments you are observing "subculture gays". The vast majority of GLB people lead very normal lives and don't go to Pride (I've never been myself) or live a "lifestyle".

The facial hair probably results from your testosterone induced frenzy. I don't know if you've considered electrolosis or other types of hair removal? Not that I'm hinting or anything, but people have noticed your chin hair.
