I'm not talking about the lipstick lesbians that do porn - those types are hot. I am referring to real-world lesbians - the kind you see on occasion at a restaurant, park, wrestling match, etc. I've see a *few* decent ones, but most are unattractive, fat or use very little makeup or have short hair and dress in jeans. Is it just me or are there good looking lesbians out there?

I went to a gay pride parade once and noticed that most fulfilled every stereotype. Most of the men were good looking in kind of a John Edwards pretty boy way, and most of the women looked like men and had a macho way about them. I found most of the lesbians to be very unattractive in general.

I'm sure that is true for some lesbians, but usually you'd see 'em holding hands after a movie or a stroll along the beach. These days I feel lesbians aren't afraid of showing their feelings for each other in public.

I know one personally - one that my son went to school with. From the back of
her she looks just like a boy and when she turns around to show her face its when
I can see she is a female. One thing about her is that she really enjoys the topless
bars! Brother!

I'm friends with many lesbians, some have more masculine looks/tendencies, while others are more feminine. Specifically, though, this thread reminded me of a party I went to in Manhattan that was thrown by and primarily catered to lesbians. Holy Wow! I was blown away!! I can honestly say, I have never been in the presence of that many gorgeous women in one place (and most of my female friends are fantastically pretty).

So, I would have to say, the stereotype does exist (many stereotypes do sprout from a *seed* of truth). But, don't buy into it as gospel, because you'll probably be proven wrong .

Ditto to your observations and some of your thoughts, especially: don't buy into stereotypes, because you'll probably be proven wrong, and furthermore, insult a whole lot of folks who might be your potential friend, neighbour or supervisor.

I don't think it's so much that they're ugly, it's just that they're not dressing to attract men. So they may very well be out and about in comfortable clothing and no makeup because they don't care what men think of them.
