I've been doing online dating for awhile, and it seems the guys I'm interested in don't have time to date. I'd like a companion for dating mostly on the weekends, but I'm not sure how to even start with these guys. So there are 2 questions here; how do I find an available guy? and how do I communicate that I'd like mostly a weekend 'activity partner'. Am interested if things develop further with the right person. My pictures are good, but I'vebeen on the site awhile and am 'old news' on there I think. Thanks....

Sounds like clarification in your profile could have helped some. At least to convey your expectations of availability on weekends.

If you think people on that site see your profile as stale, either re-do it with new pictures to make it "fresh", try another site, or try meeting people out and about on weekends doing the things you want to be doing.

Dudes on OLD are telling you they don't have time to date? Do you believe them? They're on the site to find dates, that's what they're there for. If they're telling you they don't have time, it means they're not into you. You can either try a wider variety of guys, or get better quality pix, and revamp your profile.

1 Drop that as your profile heading then who are available what you are looking for will contact you.

That's exactly right.

If a guy wants to spend time with you, he will even if he's busy.

If a guy does not want to spend time with you, he won't even if he has plenty of free time.

(Same can be said for women).

I wouldn't believe that for a second and have had one girl say the same thing to me after meeting me through a dating site. It's total BS, though she did seem to enjoy my company the one time we went out. Why would someone join a dating site knowing they don't have time to actually go on dates?

Totally agree here. This comes off as very patronizing to men; those with confidence will be put off by this. It's like you're offering to squeeze them in and doing the favor by sharing your mere presence with them on the weekends (while, at the same time, they're not worth your time during the week).
