Men, if you had more money and status do you feel like your luck with women would change? (single, gays)

I used to think more money would help. Not so. I'm making great money now and nothing has changed. Thats partly because I'm in the wrong city, but still, I can't move so I'm stuck.

Women like well off men, a good provider and financial security. It's biological, when they see a man in a suit and a nice car they see success.
Are you married?
I'm not saying you're completely wrong. Obviously, no woman wants to be with a manchild living at home and not trying to earn a decent living. But they don't need to be mega rich either to make it happen. There are all sorts of other factors. I come from a low-income area, a low-income family. Trust me, I've seen what the reality is. Poor people, middle of the road people hook up and get married all the time.

I've done ok in my life... make good cash, have zero debt. Sock a decent amount away. I'm no way shape or form rich, but I'm doing better than a lot of my peers.
I dress very casually used to drive a beater, I drive a mustang now, I have long hair and a goatee and don't look the part you describe... no suit, no over-the-top nice car.
I like that I have more money than I look like I should.
Take pride in it, actually
There are tons of well off dudes that don't look the part...
I'm not a millionaire but read the intro the book in this link.
Most people with real coin dress it down... rap videos and all of that other nonsense isn't how real wealth rolls.

I'm not married, but I came pretty close once. I have a 10 year old and I'm in a relationship now. (not with his mother)
People just do the best they can. Especially if a woman has a degree and a good job, she'll most likely seek someone with the same way.

I'm not rich either, but I make good and drive a nice car. When I dress up (not necessarily a suit) more women wanna talk to me.
March 2013 my friend got married. After the wedding we went out to a downtown bar, everybody had on a suit. Had 4 women make conversation with me and gave me their numbers without asking. I'm okay looking and I do okay with the ladies, but nothing like I just described.

I used to work in a real estate office. Sometimes people in beat up cars, greasy hair, unkempt and nasty looking came in and the realtors were all over them. When they left, I said "So why did you show this guy million dollar houses if he can't even afford a nice car?" They picked up on little signs, gestures, socks, watches, the way they talked, that these people actually did have the money to buy expensive houses.
And then there were the guys who showed up with fancy clothes and fancy cars and acted all rich and the realtors later on said that they were most likely just pretending. And they were right, they never bought a house. They just liked looking at houses they can never afford and spend their weekends like that.
I had no clue, I was just believing what I was meant to believe.
Atlanta is awesome, though a little pretentious. So in Atlanta, I would be judged on my car (Honda Civic), despite making good money. Wouldn't matter if I was the millionaire next door. But its workable. I may get a new car soon anyway. OKC is a disaster. Everyone gets married by 23 and has 3 kids. If they're divorced in their 30's, they have 3 kids. I want my own family. Its a nightmare. All I get with OLD are 45-55 year old women with grown kids interested in me. NO THANKS! As for women 30-40, forget it.

I believe that, but who does live in all the fancy houses? When I go to the grocery store in Sugar Land (an upscale area in Houston) I see a lot of really beautiful mothers shopping with their kids. Same thing at a nice hotel, I see a lot of really good looking women.

We're still not talking the same thing, I'm simply saying that one doesn't have look like you stepped out of a GQ photo shoot to pull down women.
Like another poster mentioned, tons of average to lower average salaried guys meet and get married and have kids...
It's not simply just a money issue, there are tons of variables to the success with the opposite sex.
