For me, it most definitely does. Mentally I can't juxtapose the traditional "female" professions of nurse and teacher with images of sexual allure, precisely because most of my encounters with incumbents of those vocations have been so underwhelming. A female secretary could still be "hot", but only because secretaries have become rare and exotic, and the image of "secretary" hearkens back to 1960s skewed gender-dynamics in the office.
