I don't think that's how it starts I think guys like that look back and think how the heck could that have been my ONLY option. So not going out with that one girl was signing his death warrant?
The issue guys have is that women can get set up any time any place, its seems like guys have very narrow opportunity and if they miss it they are screwed.
This! I have missed a lot of opportunities with women. They would always say I'm too unfriendly and never smile all the time. Well, excuse me for being me.

Women can generally act how ever they want, be as mean as they want, put off marriage for as long as they want, and they will still have tons of options. Men will not get this unless they are willing to go overseas.

Then move to another country where men and women open up equally. Perhaps places like eastern Europe ?

Are you saying they should settle? I am not attracted to most women I see in public, therefore I do not approach any of them. Most of the guys I know will die alone than settle.

like i tell these 30 something yr old women that have great careers and no man, it's about being realistic sometimes
i do think that some people fixate on people or things that are just unattainable... thats where being realistic comes in
Methinks the girl ain't as good looking as advertised. If I had a dollar for every time I had a girl embellish another woman's attractiveness to me, I'd buy a new Infiniti sedan with cash.
I'd still take my chances, but I'm admittedly biased (Slavic women are the most beautiful on earth).

LOL.. it's a woman's world, huh?? Apparently you aren't familiar with history.... plus I think James Brown would seriously disagree....
I am curious because we have so very many men who post here who have never had intimate contact with women, and seem obsessed by that fact. Some are younger but some are middle aged. They say "no woman ever gave me a chance" but I find that unconvincing.
Here is the scenario here at home today: My daughter and her boyfriend are trying to fix his guy friend up with her girl friend for a first meeting (all are age 17-18). All were invited over tonight to hang out, and everyone knew it was for these two to meet. The girl is very attractive and interesting, an exchange student from Serbia.
The guy bailed. No reason, no excuse.
This was his golden opportunity to meet a girl who wanted to meet him, but he let his fear get in the way. I wonder if, 10 years from now, he is going to be complaining that he is an "incel" who never had a chance to "access women"?
This is not the first time I have seen this particular scenario play out in this age group, by the way.
no that is not how it starts, that is where it manifests itself. fear of women usually starts earlier in life, about age eight or so when girls are just starting to be interesting to boys.
