a 28 yr old who does want sex but doesn't take the necessary steps to get it is lacking something. Self esteem maybe.
To date a 28 yr old virgin wouldn't be to date someone with just a lack of sexual experience, but also relationship experience, break-up experience...Life experience.
Guys who argue against the fact of life that men are the one's who initiate are the kind of men who wouldn't know what to do if a woman approached them. They'd turn into a puddle of insecurity.
Drive might not be the right word, but a 28 yr old who does want sex but doesn't take the necessary steps to get it is lacking something. Self esteem maybe.

why is it more important for the man to know what he is doing than it is for the woman? that's why lack of experience hurts men more than women in the dating/relationship department, you will often hear of women being turned off by men being inexperienced past a certain age but rarely hear of men being turned off by inexperienced women regardless of the womans age
How does constantly keeping score and complaining about your preconceived notions of how easy you think dating is for women get you any closer to talking to a woman or going on a date? You're a guy. It doesn't matter what it's like for women. Women aren't your competition.

well it's a catch-22 regarding experience, you need experience to get more experience but you can't get experience if nobody will give you a chance, it's not like when it comes to getting a job where you take up volunteering to put on your resume, I don't think there are volunteer relationships

Several of the men on here have said that they would have no interest in a virgin, so it goes both ways.

Agreed. And I see on some other sites where guys say they don't want a woman who's a virgin. Virgins over 18 will be shamed by some men and women alike. Same with S-shaming. Some will do that regardless.
To get back to the topic at hand, for those of you who are saying it is the lack of relationship experience that concerns you, is it an absolute deal-breaker or just something to think about?
Why quote me and ask a question about something I didn't say?..I wouldn't date a 28 yr old virgin woman for the same reasons most women wouldn't want to bother with a 28 yr old virgin guy.
Imho, a 28 virgin of either gender is suspect for not having the balls to get out there and make it happen. To face rejection like an adult. (Not counting folks with physical problems outside of their control).
Knock it off.
But how would you know you're dating a 28 year old virgin? Only way you could know for sure is if she outright told you.
This is why I wouldn't care if the girl was a virgin or not, plenty of people lie about it (which I can't blame them in this day and age).
