just my 2 cents, I don't have any experience in this, and probably never will.

The guy HAS to respect her decision. A guy who forces the woman into having sex with him is basically raping her.

Maybe he no longer views her in the same light anymore, maybe he wants to continue being friends later down the road. I don't know. But you can't force yourself onto a woman.

I'd say you were her "in between men" man. Now she may be dating someone she thinks has more potential as a long-term relationship. If that's the case and this doesn't work out, she may be available again in the future. But actually, do you care that much? If it's a FWB kinda thing you'd have to expect it at some point and you could/should have some other stuff going on or lined up, right? ....or did you catch some feelings?
