In the grand scheme of life, if you do not have health you have nothing. So sex is a distant second.

Now, in terms of a relationship. sex is very important. It is a source of love, sharing, bonding, intimacy.

Basically, anyone can live just fine without sex, but it is hard to maintain a great relationship without it.

I opted for it being very important and necessary. Of course one does not need to have sex in order to live but it's more than just simply "important".

This is what I'm saying. Of course it's important and necessary in a relationship, but what happens when you are single? What happens when you go through a dry spell? What are people going to do then?

Ugh, I just hate CD ramping up my already high sex drive. I love sex, but will only initiate it once I'm ready to support kids. I'm not quite there yet, though. It takes $ 16.5 K/yr to support a kid. If our total earnings cross $120K/yr the first time we sleep, then its entirely possible.

Some people choose to be celibate during a dry spell.

Some people choose to join 'hook up nation'.

All depends on the person.

This same woman that came alive with good sex is now left with higher expectations from her partner, and not very many partners can fill the shoes of the elite.
I feel though that many times bad sex is a result of someone not communicating their needs enough to their partner. However if someone equates good sex with simply having a giant member, then yeah filling those shoes might be hard.

It's important, but definitely not essential for life. There are countless people out there that can't have sex (due to physical limitations) that are stellar citizens.

Well, we're not talking about being stellar citizens, I mean more on an individual level.
