I hate it here and he knows it ...this place is boring. But, he is content because he has a friend here and he has things to do. I feel like our relationship has changed since we left the job.....the sex was better there ,he said the L word a few times while drunk . He has yet to say it sober sometimes I think he is still grieving over his wife who died 4 years ago. I'm also 10 years older than him and I feel insecure at times.
I want the sex life we had and I want to hear the L word. I'm not sure how to approach him without sounding to needy.
Move back home and get on with your life with a) just yourself, or b) with someone else. This is not a winning situation.

[and the part I bolded is lame]

If after six months it's like this, it never was to begin with.

Move on... I don't always say that so flippantly, but there really isn't anything there...... he's treating you like a warm place to put it.

Don't be that girl.

I think that, since females are continually projected upon to forever "remain youthful", it could easily affect a woman's self esteem when changes emerge, whether it actually has anything to do with it or not. In reference to an age difference, I think when there is an initial attraction, people may not be focusing upon age differences.
