Why do women use online dating if all they do is complain about creeps? (marry, kids)

It seems like the vast majority of women that use online dating complain about creeps, stalkers, and liars. I don't understand why they keep complaining about online dating when the whole point is to attract attention.
I think there are just as many creeps online as there are offline. I've teetered back and forth about whether or not to keep my online profile up but at this point, I want to use every outlet possible to meet someone.
Of course I've encountered some really weird guys - especially ones that plan our life together before they even meet me. I'm sure they don't want to be married to a serial murderer, haha! But there are a few here and there that I have gone out with. They weren't creepers but they weren't someone I saw myself with.
Because men outnumber women by like 10-1 on those OLD sites....it's purely mathematical....so of course women will complain that there are all these creeps, just like how men say they have no luck......
I don't think it's just online. These creeps existed well before OLD sites. OLD is just the new platform they use to reveal themselves. These women would have just as likely met them if they were still out dating through more traditional means. OLD is just the new theme; the plot (dating creeps) is and always has been the same.

This is true... but I also think something about online makes people act even creepier than they would in person. Maybe you could argue they are being more true to themselves or something, but manners and tact often seem to go out the window when words travel though cyber space.
