I have men hit on me and asked for my phone number all the time. And I have a boyfriend.
I'm a petite Asian-American girl though, maybe I give those men the vibe that I'm cute/innocent type.
But the times I get hit on was when I go outside "ALONE", keyword here "ALONE'
Like when I'm at the gas station getting gas (alone)
when I go grab some food for lunch (alone)
when I go shopping (alone)
I have men that asked for a handshake and then won't let go, and kiss my hand out the sudden (I was shock) he did it so fast that I didn't have time to pull back.
I have men that follow me to the parking lot to asked for my phone number. But this all happen when I go ALONE.
To be frank, I seriously doubt if any men is that BOLD to approach/flirt with a woman when she have her MAN next to her.
In all my cases above that men hit on me, it all happened when I'm going out ALONE
^^Same with me: never happens when my hubs (or any adult male, like brother or father) is around.

Different approaches:
-Innocent conversations that turn into :
-"Well, your husband doesn't have to know about our thing".
-Dudes who say "my older kids can play with your son, while you and I get to know better" .
-Dudes who see the ring and would say "it's probably fake, isn't it? You are wearing it to keep me away".
Obviously the ones who shout things like "great a$$", or "I'll make one one more" (meaning another kid).
Dudes who start talking in "we" after simply mentioning that I like (for example) "My Little Pony" (eg. Oh, we'll go to Brony Con together in a few months, we'll have a blast) at the comic book store. Since bronies became a thing, this one has become a popular line. If it wasn't MLP, It'll be "Sailor Moon", "Pokemon", "Dr. Who", or some older anime show.
