A lot of women are into D-bags, though. When I was online dating, I'd give pretty much everyone I found reasonably attractive, seemingly decent personality-wise, & didn't have disqualifiers I fit a chance... however I'd save the types of girls that would typically be into D-bags for last. I'd focus on alt girls and girly geeks first.
Perhaps, and I'd say that those women probably aren't worth pursuing anyway, so don't sweat it. There are plenty of other women, as you've learned, who aren't into d-bags.
When I see those, Im glad that Im average and fat. Kryptonite to them.
