Since the Presidential primaries are on, I have been thinking alot about charisma. I have been noticing how some people have it and some do not. People with alot of charisma seem to have alot of men and women attracted to them. I know some people who just seem to have a magic about them when it comes to attracting someone from the opposite sex. I had friends in college who seemed like they could get almost any women in town to go out with them. While others, while attractive and nice, could not get a date.
Do you have a charisma around the opposite sex? Is it something that can be developed with practice? Do you think people with charisma have better relationships, or just a better chance of meeting people? What are your feelings about relationships with charismatic men/women?
This charisma is innate, unconscious. If you work at it, you won't get it. You either have it or you don't. The point is it has to be in you - sincere - because that is what attracts.
Bill Clinton has it but he causes damage with it as well as attracts with it, so it can go both ways.
Everyone has this charisma that can attract the opposite sex deep inside them. Depending on your environment and upbringing this "charisma" or just attraction may have been suppressed somewhat.
I think you can attain this from practice. With building "true" self-confidence, understanding yourself and others (not just women), gettin rid of insecurities, trying to look your best with what you got. All this takes time and practice. But I believe it is possible with time and effort to shed yourself of the stifling insecurities that society places on you for not being tall enough, rich enough, etc.
I know its helped me.
So I do and I don't agree with the second poster. It has to be in "you" but everyone has the potential to release if the understand the depths of who they are and the opposite sex.
i tend to fluster people a lot (no matter what sex they are). though it is awkward, it works to my advantage with the store clerks giving me back my change (as long as it's in my favor). i dont know if this has to do with charisma or a confusing vibe that i must give out.
When I walk into a room full of women, they pass out. I tend to have that type of charisma.

I agree you have it in you, but it takes a little work for it to show in some. I know I feel more confident now than I did 15 years ago and I think that translates to more charisma now. I do think there are some people who have had it beat out of them by life and it shows on their faces.
LOL! Some would find that very charismatic, at least that is what I read over on that other thread.
