Because you have trust issues. If you chronically cannot trust your SO even when they have given you no reason to distrust them, you have a psychological issue that needs to be addressed.
That is what therapists spend so many years in school for. Go see one.
I'll say this though, you should be single until you sort this out. It isn't fair to cause suffering to someone else because you refuse to deal with your issues.
It's better to be in a state where you yourself are happy and are satisfied.
IF that means being single, it means being single.
If that means being in a loving, committed relationship, it means being in that relationship (although I really do try to stress that youll never be happy with anyone if you haven't learned to be happy alone/single).
