I've never really liked having boyfriends, because I always liked going off and doing my own thing and not having to feel like I need to check in with someone everyday and spending all that time with them. But when I'm sick or it's late at night, I think, it'd be nice to have someone to cuddle with right now. Does anyone else feel this way? Yeah, it probably sounds selfish, only wanting someone when I need them, but if it's agreed, then it shouldn't be a problem, right? Has anyone ever had a cuddle buddy of the opposite sex with no sex involved? How do you get one? I cuddled with someone once but I think they wanted to date and I had no intentions of dating them.

Yeah, I tried that too, but I ended up wanting more even I didn't really want more with them. I knew they weren't bf material but it still didn't feel good to be treated like a piece of meat.

Unfortunately in our society touch of any sort almost = sex. It's unfortunate.

That's a tough one then. Even if I said that you elaborate that cuddling is all you want you may still wind up wanting more.
If I snuggle with a woman it'll be with one who I at least care for and vice-versa.
I agree. Although that stuff animal man is getting fresh with that lady. Did you see his hand!
