I'm almost 30 and never even went on a date, so I guess it is possible.

I'm 29 and have never been on date or had a girlfriend.

Of course, I have a physical disability (walk with a gait) like Dr House, albeit it's much worse. Therefore, that's been the main reason for my lack of success. Women don't find that attractive, and in no way would I expect them to do so. I'm damaged physically and I 100% understand why women not want to be in a relationship with me.

Thankfully, I'm married to my career and have had success academically and in the corporate world, so that's what I pour my efforts into....especially given that in the next ten years my disability will get progressively worse and I'll have to leave the work force and just live off disability payments from the govt.

Would you be willing to date a disabled female? I am just curious, there was this dude at the community college in a wheelchair who asked out every single chick, except the disabled ones, was weird.

You're right. I'm living proof of that. I haven't asked out a woman since me and my girlfriend broke up back in October.

Sure, but it depends on the disability. I'm still mobile and functional, and I enjoy going for walks, so someone who enjoys that would be preferred,

I'm in my mid 30s and never been on a date or been in a relationship. My social skills have always been crappy, and most of my interactions with others have been generally negative. I take care of 5 cats, plus a few strays that wander around my neighborhood. That's enough social interaction to me - I'm probably the crazy cat guy I'm not sure if I'd even want a relationship. It takes enormous effort and energy for me to keep a basic conversation going, yet alone being with someone for hours on end.

Gary Brodsky says he knows of guys in their 30's who have never had a first date with a woman, so I guess more common than you think

I work with a guy like this. He's nice just very shy and unfortunate in the dating game.

Lot's of people think I am. I don't have anything specific I look for. I'm
not the type that easily falls for people. When I do like someone it takes a
while for me to get over them. Romance is not a priority for me, also I realized
I'm not really willing to start over and build on another person. It's
draining.
OK. So it seems as if you are not interested in having a relationship. From your posts, you seem intelligent and thoughtful. From your picture, you are quite attractive. So there would be no reason you shouldn't be in a relationship with a nice person, unless you don't really want that. Is that the case?
