Peter, how old are you? And where does your money come from? Are you employed, or is it your parents' money? Are you from another culture? You sound like a non-native speaker of English, who doesn't understand American customs.
i am america but i dont necessarily agree with Americans standards.
Ambition is important for anyone to have. It is the same if i had a girlfriend who was lazy and unambitious; i would become frustrated at her. I would want the person i am with to be the best they can be and have passions in life. That doesn't mean she has to have a high profile job, just something she is passionate about. I am not financially successful but i have passions and hobbies that i enjoy, and as long as you both have a connection i don't see why money would come into it.
The women here who say a man doesn't need money are probably assuming the guy is middle class, not a man making minimum wage or in dead-end jobs.
Bzzzzzztttt....wrong answer. I dated one of those low-end income earners. He had a problem with me making much more money, whereas for me, it did not matter to live in a very basic environment.
YES, he needs money...lots of it!!! I will not be with anyone who isn't worth millions!
Ha, seriously. Money matters in that he should be financially responsible. I likely wouldn't mesh with someone who lived paycheck to paycheck because he spent all his money on "man-toys" and flashy items.
