I've been wandering around these online auction sites, and I find them fascinating.
The problem is, I think they are addictive, in that once you've placed a bid, you can feel inclined to keep a watch on it. I've also found studying the bidding habits of other to be interesting.
I'll add a poll to this one, and throw in gambling as a option, although I think the auction is somewhat related.
Just as a note; No, I haven't spent a load of money, I keep getting outbid.
Anyway, people, feel free to put your bit in.
If you are talking about Quibids, or sites that are similar....they have bots that bid, I tried, and made them refund the money I spent. They never questioned or disputed what I accused them of, and promptly refunded back 100. If it's Ebay, learn how to wait until the very end, and snipe the bid. If the sites you are visiting are like Quibid, don't even bother, the fact they never disputed my complaint, told me a lot about that auction format.
Maybe I should just start bidding on porn. Now, that would be a gamble.
Thank you, people, interesting results, up to now.
