I've dated a lot of guys from Tinder. Most have been nice and decent, but we had no chemistry. Some were absolute pigs, though that was not the majority. There was only one guy I had real chemistry with and we dated for awhile, but it turned out he had a girlfriend. They were in the process of breaking up, but I wasn't looking to be a rebound or distraction. So, while my experiences haven't been awful, they haven't been great either. I have friends who've met their SO off Tinder. And I know a guy from work who I think uses it as a way to sleep with a lot of girls. Not certain, but that's the impression I get from him about it.

The one I met on Tinder was a professional woman in her early 40's who was looking for a stable relationship. She liked Tinder because it seemed to her to be spontaneous like meeting a guy in a public setting. You see someone, start flirting and if there are sparks you get their number and set up a real date for later.
